Weather Reporter - A Weather App-Widget

Hello guys, It is with great pride i announce that i have released an application into the Android Market.There has been a lot of effort and time put into making this Application right from design to development. I am hoping all that effort translates into a good User Experience.

This Post is going to discuss the Features of this application.As soon as you start your application you probably are going to come across a screen that looks something like this

The Apps Start Up Screen

Well You have not configured location as of yet and hence the N/A Sign.

The App was designed for Users to have Easy Access to Information without having to Launch the app and this is achieved via a Widget. Which Stays on your Home Screen and Updates on a periodic Basis.The Widget when configured looks something like this on your Home Screen.

If you however wish to have more information like forecast for the next four days then all you have to do is to tap the widget and you will be taken to the App's Main Screen.Which will display the Weather Details as follows.

The Top Most which is called an Action Bar adds to the functionality of the application.

The Left Most Icon will present to you a list of configured locations and when you choose a certain location from the list the App Screen will display it's location details, hence giving to you the capability of Switching between locations of your Choice

The Weather data is updated on a periodic Basis. A User however has a choice of updating the Weather Data at his will Via a Refresh Button Placed on the Top Right of the Action Bar.

Whats a Weather App Which doesn't Let you browse trough the Weather Conditions of a Location of your choice, Well this App Lets you do so Without having to Configure a Widget, Tap the Location Name which is placed at the center of Action Bar and you will be presented with a Search Box Where you have to Input the Location of Your Choice and You will Get the Weather Details of the Location, the Weather Service is provided by worldweatheronline.com and there is a very little chance that you might not get the Details of a location of your choice. However the Searched location doesn't get added to your list of locations.
